Too many films end on corridors, drones and stock music — and the viewer still cannot name what you sell. A brand video that sells states the problem by second 10, shows the fix by second 25 and asks for one action at the end. That is the brief we write before a camera rolls.

Script the brand video before the shoot
Who speaks, which line sits on screen, when the product appears: lock that before the crew arrives. We write an 8–12 shot skeleton first; the budget follows that list. Therefore, you do not pay for B-roll that never makes the cut.
In addition, decide the offer in one sentence. If the sentence cannot sit as an on-screen title, the brand video will wander. Pair the film with a clear corporate identity so colour and type already exist.
One master, several cutdowns
The homepage hero, LinkedIn and a proposal email need different crops. Plan vertical and horizontal from day one. Captions are not optional; most people watch muted, and an English subtitle file is how you travel. For accessibility and SEO, descriptive titles beat “IMG_4521.mp4”.
Measure the ask under the brand video
The CTA should share campaign UTM tags. “It looks nice” is not a metric. Forms and calls are. As a result, we treat the landing block as part of production, not a later web ticket. To plan a short film, write to us. Useful production notes also sit in Google’s video structured data overview if you publish on the site.
Where a brand video should live on the site
Do not autoplay sound on the homepage. A brand video earns the click after the promise is readable. Place a silent loop or a still with a play button, then the full cut on a dedicated page with a transcript. Search can then index the words you already paid to write in the script.
Keep the same three claims in the brand video, the hero and the proposal PDF. If the film invents a fourth claim, sales will not reuse it. Alignment is cheaper than another shoot.
